Watching TV adds 10 lbs.

Last night Lauren and I are watching The Biggest Loser and the one dude, Seth, (not the other guy that cries every ten seconds) gets weighed in at 204 lbs.

I turned to Lauren, “Wow, he weighs about what I weigh.”

“You don’t weigh 204.” She said.

“No but I weigh about 200. I fluctuate but I am about 200 pounds right now.”

She just looked at me.

“Great.” I said, “You look at him and you look at me, and now you think I am fat.”

She was silent for a moment. She looked at the TV. Looked at me.

(blink)
(blink)

Choosing her words carefully she said, “No…….Bill……I am sure….he is just….ummm….shorter than you.”

She's a wise woman.....but then, you'd already know that women are the wiser sex if you'd read this new blog: We Three [W]itches--Painting Chef, Bonanza Jellybean and Zube Girl have some interesting opinions....

LOL!

I love the biggest loser!

Did you see last week when the cry baby lost 26lbs.!!! Holy cow! that's alot! I think he's greedy and in it too much for the money. I don't want him to win.

The hubby fluctuates around 2 bills too. I don't think he's fat...we like to use the term chubby, lol. He's just perfect!

LOL by 2 bills I meant 200. Forgot I was talking to Bill....didn't want you to think he fluctuates around 400! LOL

I'm sure you carry all that weight in your pants, big guy.

Did crayoneater say you have a fat ass?

As long as Lauren doesn't turn out the light in your dessert case, you're good. (That is SO cold...)

Do these pants make me look fat?
No, it's your fat ass that makes you look fat.

Bill, it's your playing weight. That's what I always say.

That's what you get for asking sweet Lauren "Does this TV make my ass look fat?" HAhahaha!
Happy Thanksgiving Bill, Lauren and Max!

OMG this blog is a classic.
I had nearly the exact same convo with my hubby and since then i never mention my weight.
I love him to death but diplomacy isn't one of my husbands strong suits.

Hehe. Do you know I said exactly the same thing when Suzie got weighed? I can't figure out how these people lose so much weight SO fast when they are building muscle at the same time. I don't think it's healthy, but they sure do look great.

Very funny Wm., but you ask for it. I love that program....I don't know why....I always fix myself a snack, plop down and while chewing, think I could look like that if I keep up this snacking....but then it doesn't slow me down......happy thanksgiving....

I hate when I see people on TV or in print who weigh what I weigh because I never think that I look like them (as big/fat as them). It is like a glass of cold water on my face when I hear something like that, I think "THAT is what 1** looks like? Oh NO!"
(on a side note, the word verifications are getting easier! I haven't had a too tricky one in awhile)

"Great...now you think I'm fat."

Dude, I hate to say it, but you are SUCH a girl.

hehe Lauren!

I think you're ok as long as you don't start cryin like Matt the cry baby.

But she's the one who is about to get fat, right? ;)

LOL Lauren is the BEST wife ever! She comes up with great stuff!

Happy Thanksgiving, all. (Hide the scale for a few days.)

Bill, you know I thought of you when Matt started crying 4 minutes into the show - I even looked at the clock as I rolled my eyes right out the door. Dan always mentioned his weight when we watch... I just say "Honey, but these people are REALLY FAT." I means nothing but it seems to make him feel better. Doesn't Suzie look GREAT? I'm rooting for her.

I think I should just copy and paste every single comment I leave on your blog, because it's always the same...

I love Lauren.
