Just because you're turning 36 tomorrow, you can't give your child a proper bath?
(Actually you are turning 36 in about 45 minutes. Well, actually, I don't know what time you were born, or if you are one of those people who celebrates their birthday on the exact minute they were born, stopping midsentence, midmeeting, midcoitus, whatever, to be like "it's 9:13! it's my birthday!")
Wait...now I feel sad that I don't know if you are one of those people. I mean, I've known you for a long time, I should know if you are one of those people or not. I mean, I suspect you are not one of those people, but maybe you are? Sigh.
Wow, you are the same age as me:) I just turned 36 a few months ago.
Of course it is not wrong. Unless it has been more than a few days, that is. It is not good to bathe them daily. Only every other day or so. Not good for the skin.
THere are several things you have to consider before making a decision eg: 1. What was the dirty factor prior to the baby wipe incident? If it was minor dirtage the it's ok. 2. Is he going somewhere important the next day? if yes, then you cant take your son anywhere with that baby wipe feeling....wipe your arm off with one and see how it feels. you know it's clean but it still feels a little weird...or at least it does to me. and most importantly 3. Will Mom find out? And will she be mad? If yes then it was definitely wrong. haha
Not wrong at all unless he's been rolling in mud! Happy Birthday! We are the same age for 10 whole days and then I am older than you. sigh.... Happy Birthday! Stacie
nope do it all the time. Well not all the time but you know what i mean...if it was a fairly lazy day and they aren't to terribly dirty or i am too tired it's a wipe bath...
I use them at the gym sometimes instead of taking a shower. I even thought about trying to get Johnson & Johnson or someone to make them and call them Gym Wipes and market them for that reason. Is That Wrong? It is, isn't it?
YES! Why does everyone else think that it is ok to skip the bath??? Think how refreshing a bath feels (especially at the end of the day). I don't think that it is very nice to deny that clean, fresh (naked time) from your son. It does not take long to fill the tub, let him splash, suds him down, and then take him out.
The only thing wrong with it is you'll run out of wipes faster and that can get expensive. Just use a damp wash cloth next time and tell people you recycle!
Absolutely you can use wipes - I'm suprises it took you this long to make the connection between that sweet baby smell and the wipe itself - and you have discovered why moms love them so much. LOL.

not at all! Atleast he smells baby fresh before bed!
How much does Max weight?
WELL! I can't give you my opinion until I find out how much square inchage each wipe had to cover.
So how is Lauren doing? Getting pretty close to the big day, huh? You guys must be *so* excited!!! :-)

Happy almost birthday to Bill, says Tori.
It's only bad if someone finds out.
(Which will probably happen since you blogged about it!)
Oopsie!
Happy Birthday!!!! Hope you have a great day!
As for the baby wipes...it's ok if that's just a now and then thing and he's not really dirty...otherwise I'd say Uhuh.

Seriously.
Of course it is not wrong. Just like it's not wrong to "let" them go swimming right before bath time.
I'm taking it as a good idea.

Totally not.
Isn't this how baths are normally administered? If not let me know b/c I'm screwing something up here.
I also find spraying them with the garden hose at high velocities to be efficient too, especially on sandbox days.
Happy Birthday
Cas
I'm thinking of taking up a collection to buy more baby wipes for you.
happy birthday, you little devil. (060606)
I'm with TKW on this one. Tossing them in the wading pool/garden pond can be good, too, in a pinch if the water quality is decent.
I think that rule applies only when you have more than one kid. You and I can be the exceptions though.
no comment on that....
But HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIAM! 36--wait, isn't that 6 x 6 and today is 06/06/06--freaky!
Have a GREAT birthday!
Um, no.
I've done that with my kids. :)
Not in my book, Bill! Of course, I'm also the one who feeds potato chips to the baby when her mother's not around.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Whats the sense of bathing them? They are just going to get all dirty again tomorrow.

Is it wrong that I sometimes use baby wipes to clean myself at the end of a long day?
Happy Birthday and I hope you had the baby on 06-06-06 even though your neighbor would be pissed!
LMAO.
Didn't he feel sticky after?
TOo funny.
