Max is a dinosaur (and please do not let him hear you call him a monster) and Wyatt is a monster (he does not care what you call him as long as there is candy and food involved).
Lauren made the costumes (see Wyatt's shadow?) and she made Max's first.
I secretly hoped that Wyatt's costume would look like Rodan, Mothra or Gamera the flying turtle, but that didn't happen.
They both looked awesome.

Awesome costumes!
FABULOUS!! Now see, I'm sure Lauren could have easily made Nathan's elephant costume, but I have no skills of that sort so I paid $15 for it at Marshalls.
Excellent, excellent costumes! Your boys are so cute.
WoW! That's all I can say! WoW!!
(Couldn't she have made you a Tim McGraw costume?!?)
You don't see many Mothras at Halloween...there should be more...cute pics :)
Bradley
The Egel Nest
What a clever Mummy! Hope she made them good and big so they will fit for another year at least!
Excellent costumes!
Lauren is my new hero.
Oh, for cute!
These are great. Wyatt is a Wild Thing. Max looks SO proud. :)
She MADE them? I bow down.
I LinkyLoved you today. Lauren, you ROCK as a seamstress AND a mom. Hats off to your Costume Skills. Those are the two most adorable trick-or-treaters I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing!
Lauren is a rock star. Dude. Mothra would have been AWESOME.
okay -
now i officially HATE lauren.
she makes the rest of us look bad.
really bad...
(I'm just kidding Lauren - you still ROCK in my book!)
Oooo and they look warm too! Those are great!
Mad, mad skillz that woman has. MAD, I tell you.
wow amazing Lauren!
She moved before halloween and was still able to make two costumes!
Good God, Lauren has crazy mad sewing skills..seriously. The boys look great.
Wow, props to Mrs. Poop and Boogies! Those are some amazing skillz, Lauren.
The costumes look awesome - great job, Lauren! My mom made all of my halloween costumes when I was a kid - homemade ones are so much better than store bought costumes!
Fantastic costumes. Can she make them in a XXL?
Wow, your wife is very talented! What about a pic of you two in costume?
Those costumes are fabulous. I especially like the feet.
I love the costumes these days. Way back in my kids days, what were they? Rayon and plastic masks o'death, have knife will cut nose holes. Can you say flammable? Nothing like being a good parent and sending your kids out in that crap with a freaking candle. ummm not me...a neighbor!
That Lauren, she's a pretty handy gal to have around! Can I borrow her?
Adorable! What skill Lauren has with a sewing machine!
Very impressive work, Lauren.
Seriously. Those are awesome. Thanks for sharing them.
(And I laughed out loud at the Wyatt/food comment.)
You have a very talented wife. I only wish I could sew!!!
Just LOOK at them! So cute! You have the bestest wife. Just a reminder!
Wow! Great job with the costumes
Any chance she will open a Lauren's Secrets department so that I may order costumes for my wife?
Awesome!
Lauren--you are amazing!
I ran out of ideas (and her froggy sleeper was in the wash) and since Katrina was just going to be handing out candy with me, I put her in a blue sleeper and we called her a boy....
How cute are they!! I wish I could make clothes/ costumes. I feel lucky when I successfully replace a lost button!
