New Record

Twelve days ago I bought Lauren a bag of M&M's. They are still in our fridge. The new record is not that Lauren has not eaten them yet.

The record is that I haven't.

First, bitches.

I do not consider that a record to be proud of. The M&Ms are there to be eaten. If Lauren is in dereliction of her duty, you have to step up and take one (or a hundred) for the team.

Wait, they're in your fridge?

Why do people refrigerate m&m's?

My wife would not let them last one day...let alone long enough to need refrigeration.

Enough with fridge comments!!!

Nothing is better than chilled M&Ms...well yes, frozen Snickers are the best in the world.

And by the way...as Nilbo stated, this is NOT a record to be proud of!

Well, I for one, am impressed. I admire your restraint, William. TGIM would have eaten them and replaced them by now... twice.

We would have the same situation in our house, only involving ice cream! Very proud of your achievement! HA!

Are you sure?? Perhaps she's eaten them - over & over - and simply replaces the bag so you'll think she hasn't eaten them! We women are sneaky that way.

Just wanted to stop in here and say I am really enjoying reading your blog (all of it.) I shot soda out of my nose reading it at the office yesterday. I also found your blog through the oddest string of events so here goes...

Janet wonders what foodtv says about the Next Iron Chef Show.

Janet reads blog on there about show by some dude.

Who links another blog in his link.

Janet goes to this blog and reads where this person links you...

Janet checks out your blogs and laughs like crazy.

Fave post so far-the hard taco shell post, the one that elicited the soda out the nose.

Thanks!

BUt why are they in the fridge?

you're good. after one day I would have said "you gonna eat those"? and if the answer was NO, they're mine. I'll replace them, honest. :)

We keep ours in the oven. is that not normal?

If no one wants the M&Ms, could you send them to me? Thanks.

There were never M&M's in the fridge when they lived with us.....Momo9

Of course, if there were M&M's in the fridge at my house, they wouldn't last an hour in there!!....Momo9

And they are hidden behind the old bowl of potato salad....uh huh!

M&Ms in our house for more than a day? Not possible. Try not even an hour? No record holders here unless it is for how fast they can be eaten.
