Cold Snap

There is a little bit of a cold snap happening here in Orlando. Not that I am complaining but I threw away my ice scraper when I moved down here.

What!!!!!

Me and the girls are heading down to Orlando for a girls weekend next Friday! That shit better be gone by then! I've had enough cold!

Bring back the warm temps for next weekend, ok?!

Just think of the fun you had writing that on your windshield.... it's been pretty warm in ohio.....at least above the average.....

Oooooh I bet I-4 was a skating rink!! Ha! I always was sort of amused (it's a sickness, I know...) at the warm-weather drivers and how they panic at mention of the word "snow."

Keep that ice down there cause here in Ohio it's been quite nice actually. In the 40's even.
You can keep it.

Yikes! I remember when I lived there once..it actually snowed. They shut down the interstate just as we exited on our way to Michigan for Christmas. We called my mom and told her we didn't make it out in time and then sent her grandson to knock on her door 20 minutes later. Hilarious! That was 15 years ago..yikes. Stacie

Priceless photo op, that one! Bundle up. Who knew... I should have sent YOU a homemade fleece scarf with Built In Mittens for Christmas!

Side note: word verification: vnjlloe - which I interpreted to be "Vanilla Joe", lol.

Reminds me of last year here in Houston when we had snow - the most in 100 years in these parts. It was fun for the kids, who made snowmen on the tops of the cars (that is where most of the snow accumulated), but it was WAY too cold! Exactly why I left FREEZING Pennsylvania five years ago!

Mrtl's comment cracked me up!

Yeah, up here in Illinois, you don't get much sympathy from me either. I am, however, amused. :)

Can I get some? It's been in the 80's here for the past 3 weeks. I'd at least like some rain to get rid of the wildfires!

You need to come additional 200 miles down. Never that problem here in Miami. But it did get pretty darn cold the other night...

I always loved how people DRIVE when it got cold in Jacksonville. But the best was the signs warning "bridge may ice in cold." NO SHIT?

Aw c'mon man. I've got like 40 scrapers I'd be glad to share. A cold snap MY ASS. I live in BOSTON. well - in the burbs but still. Brrr. Actually we are having a warm spell so I'll pipe down now. Nice handiwork on the windows.

Just where in Orlando do you live? I live in Lake Mary (thirty minutes away) and have yet to see frost on the old Corolla...

Great blog btw :)

I just saw this today and am chuckling as my brother moved his family from Michigan to Kissimmee a few years ago...
