Long Day

I sat down on the couch at the end of a very long day. I kicked off my shoes and groaned as I lifted my legs to take off my socks. There was a hint of a bad odor in the air.

I lifted the pair of socks to my nose and inhaled.

"Phewww."I said as I turned away from the smell.

Lauren, who was sitting across the room from me, looks at me and says, "Why Bill? Why? Why do you put yourself through that? Do you really think that, one time, they are'nt going to stink?"

She had a good point.

Yes, why?!?...my mom would smell the "gift" the dog would leave on the floor every time she left it...as if it really wasn't what she thought, so she'd smell it to make sure, and I'd say the same thing...WHY!

Dude, seriously. But hey, at least it's your socks and not your boxers, so y'know... there's the silver lining.

HAHA! My 3 year old daughter loves to get ready for bed just so she can take off her shoes & socks & smell her "stinky monkey toes!" She does it every night, both feet!!! I don't know where she picked it up but it's nasty.

I just found your blog...too funny. My daughter (11) has some horrible stinky feet. She always takes her shoes off right beside me...I guess she wants to share. I didn't even think of foot deodorizer; great idea chris h. :)
