Day One

We successfully made the drive from FLA to PA over the past two days. It is now Saturday morning, 8 AM, the first day of living with my parents. My mom is making sausage, biscuits and gravy, which is my favorite. And here I thought Maxfield and Wyatt were going to get spoiled.

Car trip with two kids. And yet you sound somewhat sane. What drugs, may I ask, did you give to your children?

Oh man, I'm sending my "daughter" resume' to Momo9:

"Cute, well-mannered, adult daughter, comes complete with adorable and well-mannered children ready to be spoiled by Grandma; accustomed to brothers, desiring a sister, willing to act as 'middle child' if need be; self-supporting, desiring only the occasional holiday dinner and/or weekend breakfast of sausage, gravy with biscuits and eggs."

That breakfast just made my mouth water!

So nice to have them around. Fun and noisey; at the same time, heartwarming and surreal.... Eclectic, don't know if William and L.W. could stand sharing their 'M.C.' status. Daughter likes being the only one. When she was younger, though, she always wanted a sister. Wouldn't it just upset the apple cart if I adopted you and yours. I couldn't imagine the malay. I have no problem with adding a few more. Come on over. Do you mind a name change? Let me see, what should I call my newly adopted daughter.......?

I don't live that far away, I'm assuming, can I come for breakfast one morning?

Will momo9 make me french toast?

Hey, eclectic and I are a package deal, momo9! We're sisters, so I get to come, too. With one (usually well-behaved) husband and one (even more) well-behaved daughter, and one dog . . . we won't talk about his behavior.
Being of Hillbillian descent, I loves me some sausage gravy and biscuits. Which I have about twice a year, or else I would weigh 400 pounds.
Enjoy your time together, Wm. & Co.

You know, there are a lot of us bloggers in SE PA . . . maybe next Saturday we could all come over? I'll bring the orange juice.

I suddenly have a strong desire to have someone else make pancakes and bacon for me for breakfast tomorrow. I also have a strong desire to have someone else clean up the mess from said breakfast so that I may nap afterwards.

Glad you survived the trip and are all safe and sound.

My guess is Tuesday when Max wears out his welcome.

I know Momo9 will eventually make those eggs so Lauren can walk on the shells.

See? and you thought you wouldn't have anything to write about, living so close to Momo9. ;)

We're going to miss you down here in the state of Fla, especially during hurricane season. And now I"m left to fend off the overpriced homeowner's insurance crisis all by myself.

Nevertheless, congrats on the big move. It's always good to have family nearby when the kids are little. ;)

Living back home with the folks?

We tried child-proofing our house once, but the kids kept finding a way in.

I wish you all the best.

Blessings.
