Question

Once you have had Oreo Double Stuff cookies why would you ever go back to the regular Oreo's?

Too much of a good thing is a good thing.

Why indeed. I have never gone back. Once I turned to the dark side of oreos, that was it for me. I'm a lost cause! Stacie

every once in awhile you need something a little lighter than a double stuff but that's just me.

because they're cheaper--and you know you'll have to share--that's why! Or you're pretending to be on a diet...you know, single "stuf" = healthy eating!

I, too, have a question. Why does your Nutrition Facts still say "Kids 1"???

So. True.
This is why I come here - for spiritual and grocery list guidance.

Van Halen or Van Hagar? Proof that manufactured excess is not always the key. Single Stuffs please.

Yep, I'm with Barry. Single stuff only. The Double Stuff just has the chocolate/cream (okay, it's probably spelled 'creme' since there's no cream in it at all) ratio all wrong.

Also? Those new Oreo ads where people are competing to see who can lick all the center stuff off first? Disgusting! I don't want all that spit on the chocolate part when I finally get to eat it!

I had the same thought when they came out. And then I realized how healthy they are and cut them from my diet completely.

I miss you, Oreo.

The double stuff middle creates a waxy build up on the roof of your mouth and you can no longer enjoy the cookie as a whole. I believe in having a mixture of original and double stuff. It's perfect! Original is not enough, double is too much, I need a happy medium.

OMG have you seen the new Oreo dunkers? They are elongated for better dunking...genius!

Oreos are made of Crisco (translate: LARD) and sugar. Needless to say, when I found out, I could not see them the same way ever again. However! I discovered Newman's O's. Oh. My. Heaven. They are waaaay better than Oreos. Healthy, too! (Sort of.) They come in different flavors! Mint is my favorite. Available at any natural food store or any food chain with a natural food section. Enjoy! ;)

Contrary to popular belief:

The so-called best part of an oreo cookie, is in fact, the cookie!

Therefore, you don't need to waste your time, money & energy on double stuffed, when you can enjoy the best part, cheaper! (How's that for "grocery guidance"?)

If you've suddenly realized you've had far too many Oreo Double Stuff cookies and decide you're going to start watching your weight, you would go back to the regular ones.

Because there are more in the bag.

We no longer keep Oreos in the house though because, like potato chips, it is impossible to eat just 1. Or 20.

Nope! I'm a double stuffed girl for good now.

Cuz they are cheaper.

haha, Elizabeth just eats the white part and throws out the cookie part :)

What is this "Oreos" of which you speak? Away with you and your tempting cookies!

Every time I see the regular Oreo's in the store I wonder why they even sell them anymore. I figure they're just for people who are still too afraid to try the double stuff.

i got pa into those and they are the only thing he keeps in his cookie jar now

I think they should make Oreo Double-stuffed Cookies and Cream ice cream...now that would be great!!

i shove the mint oreos into a blender with ice cream and milk and oh.my.god it's the perfect pms shake.

Mo only eats the stuffing, so I'd by Quintuple-Stuffed if they made such a thing. It's the opposite of the terrible idea of trying to out-blade the Mach-3.

I'm that person that doesn't like oreos - no matter how they're presented.

After reading the post and comments I'm off the pantry to grab me some oreos! Double Stuff are the variety of choice in our house.
