Trick or Treat

Two weeks ago I bought a few bags of Halloween candy to give to Trick or Treaters. I have not touched those bags. That is 14 days that candy, such as Butterfingers, Kit-Kats and other good treats, have sat in my house un-opened. Lauren set the rule that that candy was not to be touched. It was reserved fro the kids.

The other day I went and bought another bag of candy. Since that bag did not fall under the original rule, I opened it and have been enjoying it for the past few nights. I technically did not break any rules.

Max is so handsome.
And no, you didn't break any rules, hehe (but you cheated)

P.S: wow, I'm the first one to post a comment here...never happened to me before.

You're good! I didn't think of that, and since my DH is out to sea, I am the one who makes the rules. I had to hide the candy from myself! Locked it in the trunk of DH's car. I hate that car, I won't get into the candy till Halloween night! Stacie

Ugh! Candy! Dan cracked open the Kit Kats then I followed suit with the Butterfingers. Luckily we waited til yesterday so there is still enough.

Hee. You = Hilarious. Once again I must admire your restraint and ingenuity. I wish my warnings to TGIM were followed so conscienciously. I'm totally making him read your blog! Because I totally have to hit Costco AGAIN, dammit!

And hee! You cheat, but in the best way!

I hid the candy in a hard to get at place so I wouldn't eat it and my hubby wouldn't find it--it worked!! Woohoo! Now, I just hope that we don't get very many kids so there are leftovers.....

I have to go out and buy more candy, since I opened the Twix.

Smart woman, that Lauren, saying you couldn't open the bags.
