It's not funny

I have been criticized for only posting positive, light hearted and funny stories of my life. Here is one that is NOT funny.

I'm pretty impressed you didn't crash while filming this... were you eating an ice cream cone, texting, and changing the station at the same time?

BTW, I know funny, and that's FUNNY!

I just had an important revelation: I am so glad my boys are too old for this now! Because "it's not funny."
(I always cranked the radio to drown it out.)

My mom used to tell me when I was kid she was going to put that on my tombstone when I died. I did not think THAT was funny, until I had children of my own who also did not think 'it was funny'. Glad I'm not the only one.

(and that IS funny)

Ooooooh, the Arched-Back-and-Everything-Full-On NOT FUNNY!

Except... sorry Wyatt. You're pretty funny, kid.

Another vote for FUNNY.

Ah, siblings! I miss the days of fussing at my sister like that.

I love that song on the radio, too.

Since this is not funny, I am NOT going to laugh or type LOL (the example doesn't count does it?) or do anything that would indicate that I enjoyed this video.

Based on the routine that went on at the dinner table last night between my boys, it is my sad news to inform you that they never grow out of this.

It is pretty darn funny, though..

Iceman/Bogart: Who was watching Cougar (aka The Road), while you were showboating with this MiG (aka video camera)?

Maverick/Poop: Cougar was doing just fine.

I remember these days. The good thing is that you can usually distract them pretty easily. Ten years from now...it may not be as loud and obvious but man...they can sure throw a tantrum and get UPSET about ridiculous stuff.

The moodiness blows me away the most. My 14 year old will hug me and tell me he loves me (usually because he wants me to say yes to something he is asking) and 3 seconds later be lipping off and rolling his eyes about NOTHING. Very weird.
