Shooting more than Webs

Hasbro has a line of superhero figures that are perfect for Maxfield and Wyatt. Max's favorite is Spiderman. The Spiderman figure we have came with a cool disk shooter thing that can be attached to the figure's back. We have, of course, lost all of the disks so Maxfield just says that it is a jet pack so Spiderman can fly.

The first picture is how Spidey is supposed to wear the back pack.

Max, being the creative boy that he is, tried to put the back pack on Spiderman upside down.
Max has decided that when the back pack is on upside down it becomes Spiderman's potty.
So now when we are in the middle of a big adventure of battling DR. Octopus and the Green Goblin, Spidey occasionally has to stop and as Max says "Go poopy on the potty." I guess something else besides the "Spider Sense" is tingling.

I find this hysterical and I added the paper for effect.

This is hysterical!!! My 3-year old daughter is always making the Little Einsteins & Dora "do potty" in the middle of our playing. I find it very funny but also very frustrating when she decides it's my figurine that needs to do potty.

Now, if only we could get Max to go on the potty!

Even Spidey has to poop sometimes!

I think Spidey and Big Daddy have something in common; it doesn't matter what they are in the middle of, a battle or lovely dinner date, when they gotta go poopy on the potty, they gotta go poopy on the potty.

Loved the paper effect. I might just have to come back and look at on and off for the rest the day...and also, maybe tomorrow.

We have one of those [not the back pack thingy]. Very inventive.

Yea, we kinda figured you added the paper.
I recognized the potty potential in that backpack immediately.

Bwahahahahaha! I literally laughed out loud with that one... I'll have to show Buddy this... maybe it will, uh, "inspire" him...

if that doesn't work, maybe I'll take him to Barnes and Noble/Borders...

hey.. as long as no one but spidey is trying to use the pack as a pot... I say rock on.

(not that I have ANY experience with children using figurine objects as potties. nope... cause if I DID, and I still kept the said objects cause they matched.. let's say a dollhouse or something... well.. if I DID do something like that.. well.. folks might think less of me. even though I washed said objects. ahem.)

ps... if I didn't have this lingering whatever, I would probably be spending the next day and a half thinking of euphanisms for spidey dropping logs.

Max is a creative kid. How couldn't he be with his two parents?

Oh dammit. Oh dammit. Oh dammit. When I stop laughing, I may write something of worth. Whew boy. Okay then.

I think you should write for SNL.

Oh the men, how easily they are amused.

What is with men?! Why not wait until you're READY and then go? You know, WITHOUT THE PAPER.

In the first picture of spidey on the potty - he looks like he has a big smile of relief on his face.

"Finally a child has figured out the alternate use for this jetpack! Ahhhhh"

Hilarious!! He will love you for taking these pictures someday.

i ten-thousand-times prefer max's way of spidey wearing the pack, even before spidey's potty break. i mean, we all gotta poo, even the queen, and i betcha she reads on the pot, but besides that, i'm lovin' max's spidey. geaux maxfield!!!

Super-Poopy Man -- able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, drop a deuce and read the front page at the same time!

Of course you added the paper. It would be rude not to, as Spiderman is reaching out for it.

I think that potty training is heading in the right direction?

In the first picture of him sitting down (sideways) I thought he was in a handicapped stall, because his feet weren't touching the ground. I am glad that you finally got him some leverage.

Just so you know, my and Big Daddy's pillow talk last night was about these pictures and Spidey having to poop, not exactly romantic but still pretty darn funny.

This is completely hilarious!

I love how the last two pictures had no text in between...It created a comedic pause (this is where I was laughing the most.)

Is comedic a word?
