Our dog does not get too much press here on P & B. Last night I watched Wyatt grab a wad of her hair and yank on it for a few minutes and Luna did not flinch. She actually looked like she enjoyed it. She loves any attention anyone gives her because..well.. since we had kids she has become somewhat ignored by Lauren and myself. She is a good dog. And, NO, she is not fat. She is just big boned.

BIG BONED!!!! HA! When I first started seeing Chef (boyfriend), we were walking in Boston one day and he put his arm around me and hugs me to him and this comes out of his mouth "You're so nice and tall and big." At a tall 5'8 due to boots or whatever and having just lost a million pounds down to 130, that was not what I wanted to hear...hehehe. He retracted a little and explained that at his 6'3 frame, he has usually dated women around 5'5 and I was nice and big and tall. Yeah right.Your dog must be resilient around the kiddos! sorry, this is so long.

Thank you, I've wondered what she looked like. She's taller than I imagined. Except I'm still just imagining, since she's lying down. She's not fat, she's fluffy. It's wonderful she's so patient with the little guys.
She's a beautiful dog...you should give her more press time. It's fantastic that she tolerates the kids so well.

Luna is so very sweet to put up with your boys. NOT that your boys are intolerable, but kids do have A LOT of energy and sometimes don't realize they're not being gentle.
I watch my Niece strong arm my Brother's cat (she thinks she's giving him love) and he just lays there (pleading with his eyes, but never moving away from her). Some animals have the ability to tolerate kids and some do not.
Sadly my Dog does not...it's as if they have the same level of energy and one of them (the kid or the Dog) will combust if left with the other too long.

A patient dog around young kids is worth her weight in gold. She's very pretty! Reminds me of the norwegian elkhound mix that I had as teen.
Dogs are not beautiful! or Cute! or pretty! Dogs do their doody in public. They lick their you know whats! Dogs bark and jump. Dogs growl and howl! Dogs are mean and they Bite! Your dog and her big bones? FRIGHTENING. Sure, she looks all calm and pretty and cuddly now, but would she bite ME if I grabbed a wad of her hair? Would she? Huh? HUH?! Oh, I think she WOULD.
