Don't you hate...
...when, in an effort to be all prepared for the next day you set up the coffee maker at 11pm so all you have to do in the morning is push the button (instead of actually grabbing the filters and pouring water and scooping coffee all bleary eyed) and because you are used to setting up the coffee maker and just pushing the button, out of habit, you push the button at 11pm only to be woken at midnight to the smell of coffee brewing.

Just another reason to be glad I don't drink that vile stuff.
Ditto.
Yep, been there, done that. That is why I leave the coffee making to my dh nowadays. Love your blog...
That's why the best caffeine is served cold. I'm just a Pepsi girl at heart. Nothing better in the morning than a nice glass of Pepsi to go with my brownie.
Funny... I've never accidentally found myself at Starbucks at midnight. One more way to justify buying it instead of making it myself. :-)
Salution.....get a coffee maker with a timer on it....then you can wake up in the morning to the smell of coffee..My hubby use to get up at 3:30 am.....and that was a bit to early for me, so I bought one with a timer....we were both happy......
I second the timer idea. Otherwise, I would never actually get a cup in the morning!
Vile is right. I can't understand how people can drink that stuff.
Coffee FLAVOURED cream however (Caramel Macchiatto from Starbucks) I can understand:)
To answer your question:
Yes, I would hate that! Did you drink it or throw it away???:)
Get a programmable one, honey.
yep.. definately get one with a timer.
And be glad you smelled the coffee.. cause then you'd be cleaning the coffee maker in the morning- that would put a glitch in the day.

Better than getting it all set up and then going to sleep and forgetting it's all set up and adding more water and having it spill all over the counter and floor and make you late for whatever it was you were trying to be ready for in the morning. Yep. Done that.
Hehe...no I haven't ever done that.
I have TOTALLY done that, sadly...more than once.
