I have been grilling a bunch this summer and over the weekend I needed a refill on my propane tank. As usual I signed a fake name to my credit card/debit card receipt. Since I was buying propane for my grill, I decided to sign my credit receipt as Bobby Flay. I posted about how I always change my signatures on credit cards here.

Was Bobby Flay best man at your wedding?
Hilarious. My husband and I went back to read the original post - brilliant. Thanks for ending a stress-filled day with a good laugh.
That is damn funny William. Went back to read the origianl too. Great stuff
All of my signatures look like an ECG read out. Are you saying there's something wrong with this?
Best idea ever.
Now that is original! TOO funny! I bet the cashier would not have known who Bobby Flay even was! ha!
Love, Cathy & her quads
When I used to smoke, I blamed it on the Marlboro Man as he kept buying the darn things. And I'll be damned if I can't prove that there is a Santa Clause. I have signed receipts for those presents ;)
Oooh - Bobby Flay. Since you were trying to invoke some awesome Flay-grilling powers, it's fine that you borrowed his John Hancock. He wouldn't mind. And Lauren wouldn't mind (I'm sure) if you grilled with Bobby's powers.
I love Bobby Flay!
Love this. Will have to start doing this regularly.
We do this all the time, just the other day my son signed my name and he wrote "Miss Mary Mack" on my credit card thingy at WalMart. No one cares anymore...they just want paid!
I'm sold. I'll never sign my real name again.
That just cracks me up that no one has ever questioned you on the signing. I think maybe I'll start signing my in Japanese Kanji characters and see if anyone says anything to me
You need to start signing everything with your favorite blogger names.
I would love to see Poop and Boogies or Gigglepotomus or Bogart in P-Towne written out in script.
I am so doing this from now on. AWESOME.
Bobbie Flay's gonna come after you for a charge card signature throw down.
