Shirts

“Lauren, all of my shirts are shrinking.”

“What?”

“They don’t fit right anymore. I think maybe it is my parent’s washer and dryer that are shrinking them.”

“You have had those shirts for years. I don’t think it has anything to do with their washer and dryer. I am thinking maybe something else is making them feel smaller.”

I think she is insinuating that I am getting taller.

Taller is good, but I'd still blame the domestic appliances if I were you.

"Does this Shirt make me look fat?"

"No, it's your fat gut that makes you look fat!"

Maybe it's the lack of heighth keeping up with growing width. That seems to be my problem...

I'm getting taller too, in the horizontal direction.

You do make me laugh. I think Lauren's wrong, it must be the washer and dryer. Couldn't possibly be anything else... ;)

Me too... My pants keep getting shorter.

maybe your shirts are the same brand as my jeans. Surely something about the poly-cotton blend is prone to deformity after x-amount of washes?

I don't care how long ago I bought them, I REFUSE to believe that I once wore something with a waistline up to my ribs.

yeah. blame it on the fabric deformity.

You know..I'm having the same problem with my pants. I blame the laundromat dryers though, not the brownies I made last week or the chips that I've been eating...it's those damned dryers!!

Momo9 is making all of your favorite foods, isn't she?

:)

Or maybe that your dip to chip ratio thingy from awhile back has become skewed.

Too funny! The Hubs tried that line on me once too. PFFT! He had the audacity to accuse *me* of shrinking his shirts. I just laughed.

Perhaps it's less mom's washer and dryer and more her refridgerator and pantry? I don't know about your mo but mine stocks the best snacks an they seem to replenish themselves. Not good for the booty.

are you growing through the top of your hair too??

many of my dad's brothers are over 6 ft tall and they grew through their hair...teeheehee

Must confess: Lauren does the cooking and grocery shopping. Momo9 has nothing to do with William getting "taller". It's been a joy having Lauren here. I go to work and come home everynight to a wonderful home-cooked meal. When they leave, I won't know what to do. I have it made:) We are all getting "taller"!
