From the mouth of Momo9

This morning as I was leaving for work, my laptop bag over my shoulder, I leaned over to give Lauren, who was sitting on the floor with Wyatt, a kiss goodbye. It was a quick peck on her lips. “I love you.” I said. “Have a good day.”

I turned to leave when my mom, who was sitting on the couch sipping her tea said, “THAT was not very passionate.”

It's good to be home.

And she expected what?!? In front of Mom?!?!! In front of Wyatt??!?!

Tomorrow morning perhaps you should work towards getting Mom to say "Now that was a little bit too passionate in front of the c.h.i.l.d!"

What? Is your mom looking for some hot tongue action or something?

And you didn't respond by saying something smart ass? I call shenanigans, and demand to know what you said!! :)

Momo9 has nine kids. In 10 years... I'm SURE kisses goodbye from Dado9 would ALWAYS lead to something in that house.

You tell mom "it only takes one moment of passion to ruin a life-time."
Passion leads sex, and sex leads to kids. Kids lead to drinking in the closet. Unless she is supplying the vodka, tell her that passion is overrated.

Hee! I heart your mom.

Just read comments....I love Lawnwhisperer, too.

Can I please join your family?

I laughed out loud at "anon's" comment. Too funny!

As long as the passion isn't in Momo9's bed I'm sure she doesn't really care.

You've already got a job...how'd that happen?

I second anon's post..LOL..sounds like your mom would definitely know about passionate kisses!

Just checking in to see if you did any better this morning.

Momo9: aka the Love Coach

We may need to hear from Lauren on this topic.

Keep the Fire burning! A peck on the cheek does not do it. It just looked too routine for me. What can I say? A good habit, but no pazazz! A good hardy hold in the arms and a reasonable lip contact, with heartfelt words works for me. The kids should be able to witness that!!! When you light the fire, you must keep it burning....

Bet Lauren would agree with me.

I gotta go along with Momo9! My parents regularly got a little necking action in front of the kids. And look how we turned out!

Like I keep telling my wife - There is ALWAYS time for passion.
After 9 kids, momma knows.

After reading your post and all the comments, it sounds like you have now been educated.

Diggin' your site, I'll be back for more.

Blessings.

Passionate at that time of the morning? Doug is lucky if I've brushed my teeth by then!

I lived there for 4 months with my wife. She eventually gets out the numbered cards and holds them up. The best I ever got was a 7.

OMG the last anon comment (I assume one of your other brothers) cracked me up!!

Nathan insists every morning that after my husband kisses him goodbye, he has to kiss me goodbye. Thank goodness my two year old keeps my husband in line.
