My sister in Alaska was totally bummed that she couldn't find these things *any where*. Being that they don't work, I guess that's actually lucky.
I'll let her know, if she wants to get the good old safety knob experience, all she has to do is wrap the door knob with some cling wrap and it'll work just as well, apparently.
How is it supposed to prevent a kid from opening the door? Is it that it's bigger and the kid supposedly can't wrap their hand around it? Too bad it didn't work.
Hi, Found you while blog surfing. You have a very cool blog, so I hope you dont mind if I drop in from time to time.
If ya want, drop by my Psycho Circus and say hi. It can be an educational trip too, because I ply a game every Saturday called "Name That Celebrity Drummer".
Ok, Should I be LAUGHING this hard? I am replaying this video over and over again to remind me what to expect in the near future. Thank you for the laughs!!!!!!!!
My sister has 3 kids in 2 years and when Michael the oldest was 2, none of us could figure out the fricken gates and we would laugh because my sister would always say Michael let aunt kate, gran, etc in. Those gates were pointless!
I'm not saying anything, just that Skywalker and Solo were just there, and now he can get out the child proof door. They are not the role models that they look like. My kids were placed here to torment, and now they are spreading their torment to you. Good, you deserve it.
I used those (similar) with my oldest boy and to this day (he's almost 17 now) he can't stand to have a door closed! LOL It was the only way to keep him in his room at bedtime. Poor kid! LOL Loved seeing a "real live" Maxfield! He's a doll! Stacie
We had those same kind and it took our son about the same amount of time to figure it out. I DID however find some from the One Step Ahead catalog that he can't get open. You might check it out if you are interested.
BTW, I found your blog from another one I read regularly. :-)

And how cool to hear your voice! Sounds exactly like I thought it would. :)

I love the "Sucka!" backwards glance he gives as he exits the room.
