Hide and seek

You would think, that after the scare I had at Home Depot (see yesterday's post), that Maxfield would have some mad skills when it comes to Hide and Seek. The video below is evidence that he does not grasp the concept of the game.

Did he pick that spot himself or did he have some help??

He may not have mastered the game, but he's pretty darn cute! Sorry about the Home Depot scare - I think all of us parents go through that one once.

omg, that was adorable!!!
and btw...lauren has the BEST laugh!

wait til they are older, and Wyatt tells Max "something funny" in the vein of a "why did the chicken cross the road?" joke, and the answer is nonsensical to anyone, but they then cackle hysterically like it is the best joke EVER.

my 3 and 5yr old nephews did this last week and it tore us up with laughter :}

kids are awesome!

My husband was playing hide and seek with Isaac, and in the process of looking for Daddy, Isaac asked the kitties for help: Oh, mew? You see Daddy?

The worse news is that he'll be using that hiding place till you show him a new one.

I thought for a second there he was going to hide himself very well, he even tucked in his foot so you wouldn't see him.

but alas, the little voice wanted to be found.......

he's too cute.

I had to wait until I got home from work to watch this and it was worth waiting for. He's just too cute! Ladybug's right about the joke thing, that's hysterical too.

He is soooo cute! But I don't know if y'all oughta be encouraging the hiding stuff after the scare ya got. :D I'm glad it was a very short-lived scare, BTW.
When Lane 1 and Lane 2 played Hide-N-Seek, Lane 2 would stand in the middle of the room with her hands over her eyes yelling "YOU CAN'T FINE MY BROVER!" and he would circle her and yell, "BABY SISTER, WHERE ARE YOU?" It was so cute!! And then... they grew up. :( hahahaha!

THe natural evolution from "peek-a-boo"... Hiding and then telling on yourself.

LOVE IT!

Turkey.

Nik likes to hide in the same spot over and over and over.

For a two (and more than a half) year old, that was a pretty good hiding spot. I remember standing under lamp shades when I was 9 (or maybe that was my dad)!
It might be good that he announces his location, though, just in case you take him LazyBoy one day and he disapears!

(Seriously, I know how scary those moments in Home Depot must have been, I'm glad it turned out ok).

That is hysterical. My daughter still does the same thing -- she tells us "wait - no! You can't see me yet, I'M HIDING!"

Awesome.

What a cutie he is!

Thanks for checking in at my site today. I'm still around, but don't have much to report (I know, like that's any different from days when I do post, right?).

At least he tries. Liam stands in the middle of the room and says "Liiiiiammm, where arrrrre youuu?"
