Kindergarten

Maxfield starts Kindergarten next week.

I am a little nervous for him.

Why?

Well, this is me in Kindergarten.

Do you understand why I may be nervous?

You are living proof that there are emergency latches on the inside of lockers.

What is the limit on plaid for a picture?

Are you wearing Sharon's hand me downs?

Susie said...

Your teacher is laughing her ass off at you.

But eventually the tribble grew tired and let go of your head, right?

If you can't be a good example, at least you can serve as a warning...or a good laugh for your teacher!

You were a little girl in kindergarten?

Mel said...

And if he is anything like you, he will have fun, be funny, and have everyone wanting to be his friend. And even maybe a few crushes from those little girls.

A frequent lurker, I must delurk, not sure who had me crying hardest, you or the comments. I have sent my few readers your way today.

I don't think I've commented before but I'm sitting at work with tears in my eyes. Too funny! Thank you for the afternoon pick me up. Love your humor.

Longtime reader first time caller
3 questions:

1. Are you wearing pink?
2. What happened to your hair?
3. Where is your teachers hand?

Isaac starts Young 5s next week, and I'm nervous for him, as well.

And, thanks, I needed a good laugh!

Mom must have ran out of spit by the time she got to you. All the good saliva was on DENNIS KEVIN(alot of head you know) DAN and JOHN.

Nilbo's comment made me laugh out loud. Please let the "people" know that I got 6 kids off to school that day. Your hair was combed before you left the house.I agree your hair is a little long. Oh well, haircuts were once every few months, and I did it myself. I think you look so cute, and I know you were teacher's pet. The vest was a gift from Granny. That was the only day you wore it!!! Four of your brothers got one just like it. What could I do? She was my mother-in-law!!! I just want to kiss and hug that little BOY in the picture. SOOOO Cute!

I had to return for another look. And here I thought MY hairdo looked like Buckwheat's. You got me beat.

Your hair looks like Rocky from that Mask Movie with Cher in it.

You look like a ventriloquist dummy. A creepy vest wearing ventriloquist dummy.

William, You have made my day! Ralph's mother was so worried about her little boy's hair today for photo day in kindergarten. I'll tell her she has nothing to worry about. I've seen worse! E

Oh, we all have those grade school skeletons, don't we? On the flipside, I hope he has a kindergarten teacher who is as happy as yours appeared to be. She may be the happiest kindergarten teacher I've ever seen!

2nd row, far left. Is that the mean girl from Little House on the prarie?

Anonymous said...

It could be worse... You could have Charlyn's sweater on !

Anonymous said...

Or Mo's shoes

Anonymous said...

Or worse yet Steve's pants !!!

Oh, that certainly made me laugh out loud!! I'm a kindergarten teacher myself, and while my students sure do keep me laughing every day (it's the only way to make it through the day) - I don't think I ever look like your teacher! TOOOOO funny. Thanks, I needed that. :)

Pointed my laptop at my wife laughing too hard to say anything and puzzeled she said, "what? who is that little girl?" which brought on the tears.

Love the ink circle around you too. Were you trying to make sure everyone knew that sharpe dressed boy was you?

No worries, mine is similarly funny.

wait, I'm slow here. So that close-up really is you and not a random girl? Were you not well liked by your family when you were little? You wore pink, fluffed up one side of your hair and stood right by the teacher for the picture???

You look like the teacher.

Nice hair. I think I saw that on my second grader yesterday morning.

That's why I chose you to be my best friend. Any kid that looked like that must be able to defend himself pretty good.

That made me snort!

You have the same haircut as the girl in front of you. Nice.
