Two times over this past weekend, that's twice, my magical healing kisses had no effect on the minor injuries they were meant to cure.
Either Maxfield and Wyatt are getting too old for the "kiss and make it better" or there is some kind of kryptonite around my house.
Like radon or something.
I wonder if they make a kryptonite detector.
Also, today is my brother Anonymous' birthday. Please leave him a comment wishing him a happy day.

You are just out of practice.
cue the Big Red commercial.
Happy birthday, A!
I believe it must be the kryptonite because no one gets too old for "kiss and make it better"! Certainly not me!!
I did not know that dad's had the power to kiss boo boos and make them better. I thought that was a mom power.
My dad was definitely not a boo boo kisser. He was more of the "walk it off, pansy" type.
Dear Anonymous, Happy Birthday. You are one busy and dead clever guy. I've admired your quotes for many years.
Bill, So sad your kisses are losing their magic. Give a bribe (sweeties or money) and a kiss next time. It just might work.
Happy Birthday, Anon. Keep those comments coming.
Happy Birthday, Anonymous! Did you steal Bill's mojo?
Happy Birthday, William's Brother. Have a mundini for me. (I don't know what a mundini is, but it was my word verification, and it sounds exotic).
Maybe your vibrating caused the magic to wear off of the kisses.
Cole is right! It is strictly a Mom Power. The kids were just bluffing with you, William, in the past.( making you think you had the power) Cole and I know better. Max and Wyatt are getting older and wiser now. No more bluffing. Happy Birthday to my favorite son. OOps! I forgot I'm responding to a blog here. No Identity given.....
Happy birthday Anon your comments are the
Reason why I read this blog!! Jk.
Have a great year!
Happy Belated, Anonymous!
We use the "clap your hands together loudly, then rub them rapidly together creating friction and heat, then with dramatic fanfare, immediately engulf the boo-boo with the warmed hands" method. It's magic. I know, because Grandpa Ken says so. And it works.
Is it possible that the vibrating testicle was the source of your powers?
Anonymous,
Hbty,
Hbty,
HbdA,
Hbty!
Did they run out of names by the time you arrived?
Eclectic is copying from Mr. Miyagi (sp?). Maybe instead of kissing, try his "wax on, wax off" technique.
Happy Birthday, Anon! Your comments are the icing here on the Poop and Boogies cake. (Wow; how appetizing.)
Today's my Dad's b'day, too. He's no longer "with us," as they say. He was funny, too.
The magic powers will be back, it's just a phase.
Happy Birthday to your brother!
