A year in PRE-view

A lot of people use the New Year Holiday to reflect back on the past year and make resolutions for the new year. I have noticed that many bloggers have posted their year in review posts which highlights and links their various posts from 2008.

Me, I decided that I am going to post a Year in Pre-View. Here is a glimpse at some of the stories that I plan to post in the upcoming year. Some of the stories on the following list have already happened and I just need to write about them. Other posts on my preview list have not happened but I hope that they do in the year 2009.

The following is what the readers of Poop and Boogies will get to see in the upcoming year.

A new baby story, a guest post by my brother Anonymous, stories about me meeting other bloggers that I never met before, my 1000th post, Bathroom Begats, my 500,000 visitor, a story about me winning the lottery, Stories about Maxfield entering Kindergarten, I Could Have Been a Contender parts 4 and 5, Wyatt going to pre-school, the vibrating testicle story, being in a play, meeting someone famous, nerve conduction study, how advertisers keep asking to pay me, a book deal, lose 15 pounds, My Dad and the assistant principle, I win fantasy football, Tripling my readership, Poop and Boogies turns Four, LawnWhisperer returns, I write a screenplay, finish begatting my man space, Take photos of UFO,Bigfoot, alien,or ghost, guest post from Momo9, get invited to speak at some blog convention, win an award.

Hopefully this list will keep most of you coming back in the year 2009. I do want to offer up a heartfelt thank you to everyone that stops here on a regular basis. It is always great to see that people stop by everyday to check out what is going on. I have been blogging for close to 4 years now I still find the whole thing fascinating and fun.

Have a great year.

That's a helluva year you have planned there. Looking forward to it. (If I might be so bold as to make a suggestion...I've had nerve conduction studies; are you sure you wanna go there?)

I like the looking ahead. I might steal that. Next year.

Oh, that was me. I don't know why I went all formal on you like that. Maybe because it's New Year's Day. Or maybe it had to do with the vibrating testicle . . . I dunno . . .

Is the LawnWhisperer really coming back!? That would be awesome!

The vibrating testicle story? Inquiring minds gotta know!

Okay, I have a jumble of thoughts, none of which go together in a cohesive comment. So, a list!

1. We must make this happen! The meeting, I mean. And all of it, although I don't have control over the rest.

2. I really like the sentiment behind this post, the naming of things we'd like to see happen. I am, frankly, too cowardly to do this. I can't bring myself to say my biggest hopes aloud. After reading this, that seems stupid.

3. Does the vibrating testicle have anything to do with your "man space"? Just wondering.

Happy New Year P&B...looking forward to all your posts (even the ones you don't know about yet)!

Yeah, I gotta ask about the vibrating testicle, too. Is this something that has already happened or one of the things you want to happen in '09? If it's the latter, I'm pretty sure you and my husband share the same dream.

"Bathroom Begats" sounds like something you get after eating bad seafood.

Looking forward to another year of P&B!

I'm waiting in anticipation for the Lawn Whisperer post. My lawn needs a firm talking to never mind a whisper.

Well I guess I'll just have to stay around a while longer if you'll be doing all that this year.

Happy New Year William. Hopefully 2009 will contain all that and more.

Bill. We need more Mooneyangelo....No, seriously, we need more Mooneyangelo!

Ok, it's worth it just for the vibrating testicle post. That, and the lawnwhisperer coming back, though maybe not in that order.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Damn fantasy football!
Just how do you plan to do that?
I'd be happy to at least once make the playoffs.

I'm on babywatch here with you guys (no, not me personally....that cradle done gone away) so I get a little jump in my heart whenever my reader shows that you posted. And like the others, I say, "A vibrating WHAT?!?" ...can't wait to read that one! ;)
Oh, and Mom09's guest post, too. And her comment about the former...
And, and, and.
Sorry to say, I'm not an advertiser.
