I think the Age Appropriate marking on toy packages are a direct correlation to the amount of days it takes a child to either break it or totally lose interest in the toy.
If the toy is marked "For Ages 4+". That means in four days the toy will be useless.
So maybe they should change the packaging to reflect to Days Appropriate.

Perhaps we should regress to kick-the-can. Or I suppose now it can be kick-the-broken-toy.
which is not to be confused with the length of time they are thrilled by the big box that useless toy came in.
I think it's an inverse relationship because toys made for 3-6 months last a whole lot longer than toys made for 5+ years.
LOL so true! I think it would take me that amount of days to get the darn toy out of the packaging!
If you remove the batteries immediately, they're ALL "broken" and the kids can then go outside and play catch.
I think you're right.
My six year old is notorious for REALLLLY wanting something and then not caring at all about it the next day. Even he agrees on that about himself.
