I am sorry I have not been around for the past 10 days or so. We took the family to the beach for a vacation.
We went to Wildwood, Ocean City and Cape May. We ate ice cream, candy, hotdogs and fries. We went on walks and on log flumes and on rollercoasters and bumper boats. We went to the beach, the bay, the out door mall, the boardwalk and the ER. All in all it was a great vacation and everyone had a great time. Except for the trip to the ER. I don't think Jackson, Lauren or I enjoyed that part.
Jackson is okay. He had a bad fall. I am thinking of getting some T-shirts made up that say "I went to the Jersey Shore and all I got was an X-ray."

oh man, poor guy. What a knot! Hope he's okay.
I'm glad you guys had a great time and got to different shore points.
I had read on Lauren's facebook that you had a holiday and a trip to ER.
Silly me, I thought it might be you blowing up again like the Incredible Hulk.
Poor Jackson! (You didn't drop him after that sign picture was taken?)
It's a good thing they still bounce a bit at that age.
I suddenly just got a headache. Poor baby! I hope he is feeling better!
It looks like a great vacation, and I thought I recognized Cape May. (And I am completely ignoring that that sweet baby had to go to the ER, because I've freaked out enough today and I might spontaneously combust if I freak out again. I trust that he is fine, God bless him.)
What did you hit his head on that sign???
Jackson street is like Martin Luther King Boulevard.... Nothing good happens on Jackson Street.
The Girls on ER were hot....Any hot nurses...
Jackson's head is now as big as mine....I can't wait to see next years 4th of July Float..
So glad the youngun is doing fine. A vacation needs a little wake-up scene to make sure we appreciate better times.
that street sign photo is innovative :)
We live on Reynolds Court. Very non-descript old-timey cul-de-sac.
However, the name must be quite popular because the sign has been stolen at least 4 times. Most likely to grace a dorm room at ISU down the street.
the latest replacement has an extra wire over it, and a humongous bolt and nut.
The street dept guys are getting wiser.
Ugh, poor Jackson! Brooke fell against the corner of a brick hearth at age 18 months and got a goose-egg remarkably similar to that one. It's scary when it happens! But fortunately, it wasn't serious at all, and I trust Jackson's doing fine. It makes for a vacation you'll never forget!
Poor Jackson... that bump looks pretty rough.
But, just remind him, "Pain heals, chicks dig scars."
Ouch! Glad to see he's okay!!!
Oh that's a nasty bump - glad he is okay. Our little Ruby got a big bump like that, never been more scared in my life.
Love your blog - cheers Belinda.
Adorable! Except for the Xray part.
Thanks so much for this article, quite effective piece of writing.
