I sat down on the couch at the end of a very long day. I kicked off my shoes and groaned as I lifted my legs to take off my socks. There was a hint of a bad odor in the air.
I lifted the pair of socks to my nose and inhaled.
"Phewww."I said as I turned away from the smell.
Lauren, who was sitting across the room from me, looks at me and says, "Why Bill? Why? Why do you put yourself through that? Do you really think that, one time, they are'nt going to stink?"
She had a good point.

Glad to hear I'm not the only idiot out here.
Derrrr, ever tried foot deodorisers???? WE have some stuff here called "Gran's Rememdy" that is amazing in killing smelly feet and shoes! My son's sure needed it! Must be a 'man thing' eh? ha ha ha
My Dad used to chase us round the living room with his. You're missing a trick there!
Or perhaps time to buy a new pair of sneakers....and then wash those feet....but you have to wash them more than once a month.....LOL
Santa's coming so maybe he'll drop a pair off....
Have a Merry Christmas...your boys should be at a fun age.... judy
You are my husbands long lost twin - he does the same thing. For the love of God I dont know why... LOL
Heidi
Yes, why?!?...my mom would smell the "gift" the dog would leave on the floor every time she left it...as if it really wasn't what she thought, so she'd smell it to make sure, and I'd say the same thing...WHY!
Dude, seriously. But hey, at least it's your socks and not your boxers, so y'know... there's the silver lining.
Men.
HAHA! My 3 year old daughter loves to get ready for bed just so she can take off her shoes & socks & smell her "stinky monkey toes!" She does it every night, both feet!!! I don't know where she picked it up but it's nasty.
Hee hee... that's funny.
I just found your blog...too funny. My daughter (11) has some horrible stinky feet. She always takes her shoes off right beside me...I guess she wants to share. I didn't even think of foot deodorizer; great idea chris h. :)
your wife rocks
You should try smelling them before you put them on.
In the spirit of the season, stink stank stunk.
