This past Sunday I posted this Test looking for a pen pal from 30 years ago. I know I could have Googled and Facebooked and did various searches to find Martin but I hoped that there would be a six degrees of separation type of thing that would happen. I just wanted to put it out there.
Within two days Martin left a comment on the blog.
I know that Melinda used Facebook to contact him, which is cool because she also lives in England so my experiment kind of worked. Thanks Melinda.
Since I had success with this Internet Test/experiment I am going to try another one:
I need a million dollars. Anyone? Anyone?

WoW! That is so way cool that you have found each other again! Now we need to see a new picture!
Nice try...
Join forces with all the other people out there who have tested this one...maybe all 2,000 of you can split the $4.98 profit!
Good luck with that.
I'll send you an e-mail and if you forward it to ten friends wthin 10min then jump up and down on one leg while singing the National Anthem you will recieve a Million dollars.
Happy to re unite you with Martin. Martin is now on friends list on FB. I don't know what we will write to each other about? We seem to only have you in common!
I don't have a million bucks to spare but I do have a dime, buddy.
OK. Here's the deal, find 20 friends to email requesting that they each find 20 friends to email, and like all good chain letters, they must be scolded about breaking the chain, and the horrors involved in doing so, and then instruct them to send a dollar to the first person on the list, and for every successive emailing, they are to move your name to the first place on the list. You'll be a favorite with everyone in no time.
Hey, Maybe Martin is filthy rich, gives you that cool million, and your test will be like winning the lottery.
That is so cool. I had penpals in England for several years, but I can't remember their names!
5 days... pretty good success I'd say.
Hmmm... good luck with the million.
Congrats on finding your childhood penpal.
I could use a million dollars as well. Will you share?
I have this guy e-mailing me about some money his father left him in the Ivory Coast. All you have to do is send him your bank account information. If that doesn't work there is a lottery e-mail I can send you as well...
I heard Campbell's soup is trying to contact you. Maybe they're looking to sponsor you or something....
