You have a wife and three kids on the beach, and YOU get to read a book!!!!!! Who is building sand castles, and jumping waves, and flying kites, and searching for unusual sea shells, and watching the sand crabs go back into the ocean? Who is telling SEA STORIES, and looking for the dolphins? Who is playing ball and having beach races? You are READING? You have all winter to do that!!!!

ReplyDeleteOn my last vacation I sat down to read a book, which I was then interrupted no less than 1 time per page until I gave up on page 12. By that time, I couldn't even have told you what I had read so far.

It is not a vacation unless you get a tattoo...maybe a Batman on your other ankle?
