Happy Father's Day

My Dad, before he passed away, would call me on this day to wish me a Happy Father's Day. He would then call my wife and wish her Happy Mother's Day. The first year he called me on this day with his father's day wishes I didn't get it. He had to explain to me that it was the anniversary of the day I first became a father.

Maxfield is 5 today.

From this....

....to this. All in the blink of an eye.

We are having about ten, 4 and 5-year-old kids, over today, to play games and eat lots of sugar to help me celebrate Father's Day.

Wow. I was worried about Viper Syndrome on Max. I am so relieved to find that he only has two nipples.

Happy Birthday, Max! It gives me great pleasure, as I've said before, to see my children as parents! Go to it, Bill! have fun at that "kid's" party. I know you will. You are still a kid at heart! I will be arriving for the "grown-up's" party in the evening. You can tell me all the stories then. I love being a grandmother! Enjoy the day, Max!
