Gray

My previous post, Sunday March 1st, shows a picture of Maxfield at a couple of weeks old and one at age 5. While I was looking for pictures of Max as an infant I realized how much I have changed in the five years.

Notice in the first picture (holding Maxfield when he was only a few days old) there is just a touch of gray on my left lip and the left side of my chin.

Picture 2 (holding Jackson) there is only a touch of BLACK on my chin.

Not by the one black hair on your chinny chin chin.

I also noticed that you have A-framed shaped eyebrows.

I also noticed that you and Jackson have the same number of chins.

I saw black nose hairs when we ate scrapple, so you got that going for you.

I thought you'd be referring to the gray circles under your eyes...

What a sweet baby Jackson! He looks like a little sea otter smooshed up against your face. . .

am I awake right now?

Wow, does Jackson ever look like Lauren in the picture.

I almost called him Grayson. My friend's son's name is Grayson and then I am sure Jackson's middle name confused me as well:) Teehee

It's amazing how much kids age you. Just 6 short years ago, I still had HAIR. Now it's growing everywhere EXCEPT on my head! :(

One word: SHAVE
You'll look younger too!

I bet Lauren still looks as young as she did 5 years ago. (We females have to stick together.)

I just agreed to submit a comparison picture for myself on a facebook group. The guys are funny (gray beards and balding) but it's another thing to be female and aging. OUCH.

Naw, that's nothing. My bum 5 years ago was looking a lot better.
Such is life.

you and lauren's children are SO CUTE! i hardly noticed you...i was so glad to see a picture of baby jackson, who looks like wyatt's twin, but that's a story for another day.

Children will do that to you. Luckily we womenfolk can enhance our hair. (o;

Yet the hair on your head has no gray. You are aging from the chin up. You could cut years off by just shaving!

Your brothers crack me up.

The grey beard is cool IMO.

On the other hand, wouldn't it be strange if five years passed and you weren't a little gray-er??? That's like Twilight Zone stuff.

Gray is the new black.

Beards are always the first to grow gray. I've seen it before.

Now, can we talk about that lovely arch you have in your eyebrows? can I borrow those, sometime?

I think you look pretty much the same. Lol.

Ohhhh. I thought you said you were a lot more Gay in the last 5 years. In which case I agreed.

Does this have something to do with Jackson's middle name being Grey.....

Your kids are going to LOVE reading your blog when they get older. It takes a special kind of man to write about his life, gray hairs and all, then to share it with the entire world! I love reading all of your posts!

Wow William, You are getting old! I love checking in on you and your wonderful family. You are the type of Dad I picture my son will be one day. He definitly will say random things into the baby monitor! Write a book? Quite a few people say that, why? Could you picture it on a bookshelf and reading the caption "Story of shy girl growing up in a creative family." Who on earth would buy such a book. The 13 people who read my blog! So funny! I have always wanted a movie made about my mother though and her years as a land lady - I have only just begun with those adventures. She truly was a character! Thanks for the thought, it means a lot comming from you because you definitly are a writer! Elizabeth

But you have a gorgeous head of hair some men would kill for. Who gives a rip about the beard.

When your manboobs start to sag, you'll know you're getting old.
