Magic House

I have been spending my vacation in Pennsylvania and will be here for a little while longer. We are staying with my parents. One of the coolest things about staying with my parents is the fact that they have a magic house.

How is it magic you ask? I will give you some examples of the weird happenings.

Before driving up to PA I mentioned to my mom how much I like sausage, biscuits and gravy. Guess what we had for breakfast on the first day in PA? Sausage, biscuits and gravy.

I mentioned to my mom how much I like Dorito's, guess what, the very next night there were Dorito's in the pantry.

While I was snacking on my Dorito's with my mom, she asked what was my favorite snack. I told her Cheetos. The very next day there was a big bag of Cheetos waiting for me when I got home.

Magic I tell ya. Magic.

wow, that's amazing. where can we purchase one of these houses?

I bet Lauren loves this magic house and the fact that you might be a pound or two heavier when you leave!

Yeah, I wish all houses in PA were magic. Except I'd choose the Magic Laundry House or the Magic Clean House instead.

Hope you're out enjoying the beautiful weather today!

That's awesome Bill, cause I called mom this morning and told her that your favorite chore was cleaning bathrooms, so she is heading out to buy a mop right now.

Your brother is THE BEST. By the way, he likes cleaning toilets, too. Don't forget to buy the toothbrush. If you forget, William can use his own.

Magic Doritos...man, you should have asked the magic house for a stack of $100 bills.

Magic indeed! Gotta love your mom. Perhaps Momof9 has decided you are her favorite now.

I told mom that you liked hookers and midgets.

Hey Lauren, can William come out and play while he's here in Pa? You could come to, I'd LOVE to meet you ALL! Like you said, Max and Nate would be great friends.

I'm with Sharkey on the magic clean house.

Oh, I love me some biscuits and gravy. And bacon. You should totally ask for bacon, Bill.

Does Misterpie happen to be one of your many siblings, by chance?

What's even more amazing is when your mom comes to visit and YOUR house becomes the magic house! The grandkids are occupied, dinner gets made (and the dishes done at the SAME meal!), you go on your first long date in ages with your sweetie AND get to sleep in the next morning 'cause the kiddos are hangin' with Grandma. Magic!

Wish you all were here this week to meet my mom. Wish I could meet yours. Maybe sometime we'll have to host a Magic Moms convention to get our moms together. Between them they have more kids than the rest of us combined. Guess they have learned a thing or two raising all 19 of us.

Enjoy your trip. Can't wait until you all get back home!

I would tell her that I like trips to Mexico and see if some plane tickets appear on your dresser.

Is that going too far?

We have a magic shed that does the same thing. We live in my wife's grandfathers old house and it pretty much came furnished. All I have to do is walk out to the tool shed, look up at the sky, say what I need, and Bingo Bango it's in there.

At my parents house, the snack that I eat there and never at home is Cheez-Its. I love em. If I had them at my house, I'd be even fatter.
